FAQ
Short answers.
Is a peg the real asset?
It follows the asset's price on Solana. Nobody holds the original asset for it, so no bridge or vault is involved.
Can anyone withdraw a peg's liquidity?
No. The Peg program owns it, has no withdraw instruction and cannot be upgraded.
Why does my coin's price move when nobody trades it?
Its curve is priced in its peg. When the peg's asset moves, the peg moves, and so does your coin's value in SOL.
Can terminals trade Peg coins?
Peg pools and coin pools are standard Meteora DLMM, DBC and DAMM v2 pools, so anything that routes those pools can trade them.
What happens at graduation?
The coin moves to a DAMM v2 pool against the same peg at the same price, with all of its liquidity locked. See Curve and graduation.
